Mr. Soni is one of today’s most successful technology venture capitalists (VC), ranked several times and as high as #6 on the Forbes Midas List, an annual ranking of the top 100 technology VC investors.
Mr. Soni co-founded PMware in 1999. He has helped launch and build more than 30 successful start-ups across a range of technologies, including communications systems and software, systems management software, semiconductors and storage, while serving in founder, CEO and investor roles. Mr. Soni is an active investor in over 15 private companies and advises several venture firms, producing aggregate transaction value of over $20 billion. He earned a fellowship to study United States nuclear policy in New Zealand. He holds an A.B., with honors, in Social Studies from Harvard University. Mr. Soni is a Rotary Scholar, and in recent years has represented the US investment community to the US Secretary of Treasury.
